Me
I'm 22, almost 23, years old. Reading has always been something that relaxes me because it is a great way for me to get distracted. I read a little bit of everything from comedy to drama to young adult. Right now I'm currently obsessed with In Death series by J.D. Robb. Anyone who knows me knows even if I absolutely love a book it takes a lot to make me be able to read the same series back to back without getting tired of it. It's not that I don't like it it's just that I need to switch it up. With this series it's like I cannot get enough. I thought it would be fun to write down what I'm reading and what I think about it right now. This is the purpose of this blog for me. Not just to rate the book I've just read but also what I think about what is going on within the book. There will be spoilers but I'll make sure to mention where it will be. If the whole post is spoiler related I'll mention it at the beginning of the post. I know how rude it is to read something about the book and then be whammed by spoilers you just aren't ready to know. Sometimes this is the only way I can process some of the things I've just read. So that's the purpose of the blog for me. It's nice to talk it all out even if I'm just typing it out instead of actually talking to someone. Plus this will also be a way to help remind me what happened in previous books, and hopefully help me not buy the same copy of the same book which has happened a couple of times.
Books
I prefer to read physical copies of the book but I'll read whichever copy I can get my hands on. I usually go with whichever routes cheaper and sometimes that means waiting until I can make it out to the flea market to find some books. My favorite series is really long and some of the first books came out awhile ago so some of the only places I can find these books are at the flea market or as a eBook copy. I know there are huge debates over which version is better, but for me it's whatever edition I can get my hands on first or whichever is cheaper. Most of the time it is cheaper edition that I get but there are times when I just can't wait and buy the eBook copy. I'll try to remember how much I paid for it and which copy I read, but I can't guarantee how many times I'll remember. I'll mostly talk about what happened and what I thought about the books. Everything is based purely off my thoughts of the books. Like everything no one will have the same exact opinion about every book, there's just too many books. There have been times where I just can't get into the book but everyone else fell completely in love with them.
